Making handmade books has been an important part of my life for over twenty years. Here I share simple books, often based on traditional forms from different cultures. I use recycled materials and keep the process as simple as possible—no rulers allowed here. I believe we are all creative beings. I encourage you to celebrate that creativity with books of your own.

My daughter is in preschool and writes everyday. I went to the local teacher's supply store and purchased a wonderful little journal that gives us topics to write about daily. I love her inventive spelling and adorable pictures. I can't wait to make more books with her.
